Anas al-Sharif was a beacon of truth. Every day, he worked to report the news in Gaza, putting his life on the line so that us outside could get a glimpse of the hell Israel had turned Gaza into.
Yesterday, he and four other members of his crew were murdered in a targeted airstrike by Israel.
As Israel gears up for its full scale invasion of Gaza – a “final solution” to the Palestinian question, they face a problem – how will they control the media narratives coming out of Gaza?
One way is to murder anyone who fights for the truth. To this end, Israel has murdered over 200 journalists since October 2023. That is more than in the entirety of the Second World War, the Vietnam War, and the 2022 Russo-Ukraine War combined.
