Hazami Barmada, a local Washington DC activist who has been on the streets fighting for Palestine consistently since October 2023, has called for a protest tomorrow, Wednesday September 10th, in order to demand an end to the genocide and ethnic cleansing of Gaza.
Barmada has been involved with countless protests in the DC area, including the most recent Gaza Media Encampment, which occupied the space in front of the NBC, Fox News, and C-SPAN headquarters for over a month.
This protest, which is being held at DuPont Circle tomorrow at 11AM, aims to bring widespread awareness to Israel’s final solution for Gaza. Israel today ordered all one million citizens of Gaza City to evacuate to the so-called “humanitarian zone” in Al-Mawasi. Millions of Palestinians living in Gaza have been displaced and forcibly expelled countless times since the genocide began.
Already it is estimated that over 400,000 people in Gaza have been killed by Israel. Millions more are still at risk. I will be in the DC streets tomorrow doing what little I can to make this known to the citizens of one of the main countries responsible. Will you join me?
